ソフトの紹介
予定表アプリケーションでは、Address Bookにあるデータを検索し、自動的に関連するデータを挿入することができます（メニューオプション以下の電話番号挿入(Phone Lookup)）。
例として、標準の電話番号挿入機能を使い、Neumanさんの詳細を選択してみましょう。 :

PhoneLookup Hackによって、あなたは、どの項目を電話番号挿入機能が利用するかを設定することができます。更に、追加文字列や改行をどういう構成で利用するかもカスタマイズできます。.

初めてインストールする場合
ステップ 1
通常のHotSyncで、plhack.prcをあなたのPalm/Pilotにインストールして下さい。
[もしHackMaster がまだあなたのPalm/Pilotにインストールされていない場合、同様にHackMaster.prcもインストールしてください。]
ステップ 2
HackMasterを起動してください。"PhoneLookup Hack"を含む、すべてのHackMasterエクステンション一覧があなたのPalm/Pilotに表示されます。

- HackMaster上の"PhoneLookup Hack"のチェックを外して下さい。
- PhoneLookup HackをPalmPilotから削除して下さい。使うソフトは次の通り...
- あなたが、PilotまたはPalmPilotをお持ちの場合、Memoryアプリケーション("Delete apps"ボタン)。
- あなたが、PalmIIIをお持ちの場合、ランチャー上のメニューオプションのApp/Delete...。

PhoneLookup Hackの使用方法
概観
基本的には、PhoneLookup Hackでは、電場番号挿入機能でどういった項目をAddress Bookから利用するかを設定するため、あなた自身の項目文字列を設定できます。
項目定義画面へ切り替えるには、以下のような順序で操作して下さい。 :
ステップ 1
HackMasterを起動してください。"PhoneLookup Hack"を含む、すべてのHackMasterエクステンション一覧があなたのPalm/Pilotに表示されます。
もし、あなたのマシンにたくさんのHackMaster用ソフトがインストールされている場合、このリストを下へスクロールする必要があるかも知れません。
ステップ 2
"PhoneLookup Hack"の隣にある、"+"をタップして下さい。フォーマット定義画面へと切り替わります。
これで、あなた自身の項目文字列を作成するために、以下に列挙されているような様々な項目を利用することができます。更に、電話番号挿入機能で挿入される文字をより見やすくしたいのであれば、改行などの追加テキストも挿入できます。
項目文字列の設定方法
利用できる項目は以下の通り :
- [一般] : ^listname（リストネーム）, ^listphone（リスト電話）.
- [個人情報] : ^name（ラストネーム(名前読み)）, ^first（ファーストネーム(名前)）, ^title（役職）, ^company（会社）.
- [電話番号] : ^work（会社）, ^home（自宅）, ^fax（ファックス）, ^other（その他）, ^email（メール）, ^main（メイン）, ^pager（ページャ）, ^mobile（携帯）.
- [場所] : ^address（住所）, ^city（市）, ^state（都道府県）, ^zipcode（郵便番号）, ^country（国名）.
- [カスタムデータ] : ^custom1, ^custom2, ^custom3, ^custom4.
^listname と^listphonesはちょっと変わっていて、後述の通り特別なマクロです。両者は、Address Bookのデータ項目に直結しています。
^listname は以下のように動作します。 :
- 会社名が存在し、かつAddress Bookで並び替えオプションが"company, name"と設定されている場合、会社名を挿入します。
- Last Nameがある場合、ラストネームを挿入します。
- First Nameがあり、かつ、会社名がないかAddress Bookで並び替えオプションが"company, name"でない場合に、ファーストネームを挿入します。
^listphone :
- Address Bookでは、それぞれのデータにつき、どの電話番号（またはe-mail）を一覧画面で表示するかを設定することができます。これを行うには、データを開き、編集モードにした後、"Details"(詳細)ボタンをタップして下さい。すると、リスト画面で表示させたい電話番号を選択することができます。デフォルトでは、電話番号の項目の中で最初の空白でないもの、となっています。
- ^listphone は、最初の一文字を電話番号に続いて挿入します。（"会社電話番号"であればW、など）
例
- 会社名、会社電話番号を挿入する場合は、以下の通り :
^company ^work - 会社名とラストネーム、または会社名がなければラストネームとファーストネーム。その後に、全住所を挿入する場合は、以下の通り :
^listname<LF>^address<LF>^city, ^state-^zipcode
(<LF>は改行のある箇所です。) - Tファーストネームとラストネームに続き、E-mailアドレスを括弧で挿入したい場合は、以下の通り :
^first ^last (^email)

シェアウェアって何ですか?

Definitions :
- Public domain has a very specific legal meaning. It means that the creator of a
work (in this case, a piece of software) who had legal ownership of that work, has given
up ownership and dedicated the work "to the public domain". Once something is in
the public domain, anyone can use it in any way they choose, and the author has no control
over the use and cannot demand payment for it.
If you find a program which the author has explicitly put into the public domain you are free to use it however you see fit, without paying for the right to use it. But use care -- due to the confusion over the meaning of the words, programs are often described by others as being "public domain" when in fact they are shareware or free, copyrighted software. To be sure a program is public domain you should look for an explicit statement from the author to that effect.
- Copyrighted is the opposite of public domain. A copyrighted program is one where
the author has asserted his or her legal right to control the program's use and
distribution by placing the legally required copyright notices in the program and
documentation. The law gives copyright owners broad rights to restrict how their work is
distributed, and provides for penalties for those who violate these restrictions. When you
find a program which is copyrighted you must use it in accordance with the copyright
owner's restrictions on distribution and payment. Usually these are clearly stated in the
program documentation.
Maintaining a copyright does not necessarily imply charging a fee, so it is perfectly possible and legal to have copyrighted programs which are distributed free of charge. Such programs are sometimes termed "freeware", though this term was in fact trademarked by the late Andrew Flugelman and the legality of its use by others could be questioned. In any case, the fact that a program is free does not mean that it is in the public domain -- though this is a common confusion.
- Shareware is copyrighted software which is distributed by authors through
bulletin boards, on-line services, disk vendors, and copies passed among friends. It is
commercial software which you are allowed to try out before you pay for it.
Shareware authors use a variety of licensing restrictions on their copyrighted works, but most authors who support their software require you to pay a "registration fee" -- the purchase price of the software -- if you continue to use the product after a trial period. EVALUATION LICENSE
Denis Faivre ("the Author") grants you a non-exclusive license to use PhoneLookup Hack ("the Software") free of charge for a period of 30 days ("the Trial Period") for the purpose of evaluating whether to purchase a license for continued use of the Software.
At the end of the Trial Period, if you do not purchase a license, you must destroy all copies of the Software and Documentation. If you wish to purchase a license, contact the Author at info@ablivio.com or http://www.ablivio.com .
GRANT
On payment of applicable license fees, the Author will grant to you a non-exclusive license to use the Software and Documentation as laid forth below.
